These terms are the agreement between you and FineGrind B.V. ("we", "us", "our") for your use of the rackd. mobile application (the "App"). By creating an account or using the App, you accept them. If you do not, please do not use the App.

Our Privacy Policy explains what we do with your data. It forms part of these terms, and where the two describe the same thing, the Privacy Policy is the more detailed one.
You must be 18 or older to use the App. rackd. is not intended for minors, and we do not permit accounts for anyone under 18. If we learn that an account belongs to someone under 18, we will close it and delete the data held under it.
An account is for one person. Give us an email address that reaches you, keep your password to yourself, and tell us at hello@finegrind.nl if you think someone else has got into your account.
rackd. records what you lift and shows you what that adds up to. It is a general fitness tool.
It is not a medical device, and nothing in it is medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Not the plans, not the statistics, not the cycle phases, and not anything the AI writes. We are not your doctor, your physiotherapist, or your coach.
Training carries a risk of injury. You decide what is safe for you to lift, and that decision stays yours. Speak to a doctor or a qualified professional before relying on anything in the App if you are injured, have a medical condition, are pregnant or post-partum, or are coming back after a long break. If something hurts, stop.
rackd. is not a contraceptive and not a fertility tool. The cycle features exist to relate your training to where you are in your cycle. Phase estimates are calculated from dates you enter yourself, they are approximate, and a cycle that is irregular will make them more approximate still. Do not use rackd. to prevent pregnancy, to try to become pregnant, or to make any other decision about your reproductive health.
The AI coach and AI plan generation send a summary of your training to Anthropic, which returns a response. Section 3 of the Privacy Policy sets out exactly what is sent.
AI output is generated text and it can be wrong. It can suggest an exercise that is a poor idea for your body, misread your history, or state something with confidence that is simply untrue. Read it as a starting point, not as instruction. Everything in section 3 applies to it in full.
The features carry usage limits — currently one coach summary a week and 60 generated plans a month — because each request costs us money. The App shows your current allowance. We may change these limits; if a change materially reduces what you are paying for, section 8 applies.
Most of rackd. is free. Logging workouts, building your own plans, the exercise library, statistics, body measurements, cycle tracking and syncing across your devices cost nothing.
A subscription, monthly or yearly, unlocks the AI features in section 4. That is all it unlocks.
You buy from Apple's App Store or Google Play, not from us. They are the seller, their terms govern the transaction, and we never see your card details, your billing address, or your full name. The price is the one shown in the store at the time you subscribe.
Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before it ends. Cancel in your App Store or Google Play account settings. It cannot be done inside rackd., and we cannot do it for you. If you are offered a free trial, it becomes a paid subscription unless you cancel before the trial ends.
Refund requests go to Apple or Google under their policies. As a consumer in the EU you have a statutory right to withdraw from a distance contract within 14 days; for digital services that right ends once performance starts with your agreement, which is what happens when you first use an AI feature. Apple and Google often refund more readily than the law requires — ask them first.
Your subscription is tied to your rackd. account, not to the phone you bought it on, so a subscription bought on iPhone works when you sign in on Android and the other way round. Reach it by signing in. "Restore Purchases" only asks the store you are currently using, so it will not find a purchase made on the other platform.
The AI features switch off. Everything else keeps working and nothing you have logged is deleted. Your training history stays where it is, and it is still there if you subscribe again later.
Your training data is yours. We claim no ownership of your workouts, plans, logs, measurements or cycle entries, and we do not use them to train AI models.
We need one narrow permission to run the service: to store your data, sync it between your devices, and send the relevant part of it to Anthropic when you ask for an AI response. That permission exists only to operate the App for you, and it ends when you delete your account.
We give you a personal, non-transferable licence to use the App on devices you control, for your own non-commercial use. We keep every other right in it — the software, the name, the design, and the content we supply. The exercise library and its demonstration images are licensed to us and provided for use inside the App only.
The App changes. We add features, alter them, and sometimes remove them. If we make a change that materially reduces what your subscription pays for, we will tell you before it takes effect and you can cancel.
We work to keep the service running but we do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free. It depends on services we do not control, including Apple, Google, Supabase, Cloudflare and Anthropic.
You can stop at any time. Deleting your account in the App erases your data from our servers, with the single exception described in the Privacy Policy. Deleting your account does not cancel your subscription — cancel that separately in the store, or it will keep renewing.
We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, and we will tell you why unless the law stops us. If we close your account when you have not broken them, we will refund the unused part of your subscription.
Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law does not allow us to limit. Your statutory rights as a consumer are not affected by anything written here.
Subject to that: we are not liable for injury arising from exercise you chose to do, for training decisions you made using the App, or for loss you could not reasonably have expected. Where we are liable, our total liability for all claims in any twelve-month period is limited to what you paid for your subscription during that period.
Your data is synced and backed up on our servers, which is a real protection against a lost phone. It is not a promise. Keep your own record of anything you would be upset to lose.
Dutch law governs these terms. If you are a consumer resident in another EU or EEA country, you keep the protections of your own country's law that cannot be contracted away, and you may bring a claim in your local courts.
If something goes wrong, write to hello@finegrind.nl first. Almost everything is faster to fix that way than through a court.
We may update these terms as the App changes. If a change materially affects your rights or what you are paying for, we will tell you in the App or by email before it takes effect. Continuing to use rackd. after that means you accept the new version; if you would rather not, cancel your subscription and delete your account. The date at the top always reflects the current version.
